2023 Update: Several years ago the State of Hawaii decided to close access to a major climbing area on Maui. The cliff that was closed is located in the West Maui Forest Reserve and features walls that reach 100+ feet high, sporting many 5.10 and 5.11 moderate rock climbs. While the area is now officially open we do not recommend visiting without being accompanied by a local climber.
